“New Diagnostic Approaches in Psychiatry: Relevance for Research and Practice in Europe”

The 17th EPA European Congress of Psychiatry entitled “New Diagnostic Approaches in Psychiatry: Relevance for Research and Practice in Europe” will take place in Portugal, Lisbon, January 24 - 28, 2009.

The EPA 2009 European Congress of Psychiatry is organized by theEuropean Psychiatric Association (EPA), formerly known as the  Association of European Psychiatrists (AEP) the largest international association of psychiatrists in Europe with a membership base from more than 57 countries. 

The “Association of European Psychiatrists (AEP)” has changed its name to the “European Psychiatric Association (EPA).” This change aligns our organization with the names of many of our European and international partners and with the title of our European Congress. 

EPA LISBON 2009 brings together a blend of psychiatrists from all specialties with lectures and symposia focusing on different psychiatry and neuropsychiatry fields.
